Cooperation Protocol Signed Between DMO Directorate General and Directorate General of Information Technologies

On July 11, 2024, a “Cooperation Protocol” was signed between our Directorate General and the Directorate General of Information Technologies (BTGM) to meet the needs related to information systems in a synchronized and coordinated manner, and to use resources more effectively and efficiently by leveraging the advantages of economies of scale.

The signing ceremony, held at our Directorate General, was attended by our Director General Mr. Şinasi CANDAN, and the Director General of Information Technologies, Mr. Dr. Mert ÖZARAR, along with officials from both institutions.

The Protocol aims to:

-Facilitate joint work, information exchange, and experience sharing on topics determined by considering the duties, responsibilities, needs, and priorities of both parties,

-Achieve savings by leveraging economies of scale on the topics jointly decided to be procured,

-Simplify procurement processes,

-Prevent duplicate procurements of the parties, ensure the effective and rational use of resources, and reduce operational and investment costs for both parties, thus ensure the effective, economical, and efficient use of public resources.

Through the protocol signed with BTGM, our Directorate General, which has the mission of supplying effectively and efficiently the products and services needed to maintain public services without interruption, will continue to contribute to minimizing public expenditures and adopting a savings approach in the public sector by leveraging the advantages of central procurement.
