Important Tasks Given to DMO in the Annual Presidency Program

The 2025 Presidency Annual Program was published in the Official Gazette dated 30/10/2024 and numbered 32707 bis. The Program includes many activities to implement the policies and measures included in the Twelfth Development Plan.

In the Annual Program, the following tasks were assigned to DMO Directorate General under the responsibility of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance on issues such as the development of central purchasing models, the provision of all fuel and electric vehicles through DMO, and the development of the Healthcare Products Market and Techno Catalogue;

-Starting the studies for the development of central purchasing models,

-Procurement of the fuel needed in service vehicles through DMO unless a higher discount rate is obtained at the location where the station of the supplier with whom DMO has a contract is located,

-Making arrangements regarding central purchasing transactions,

-Completing the procurement processes of a total of 2,250 domestic electric cars, 750 of which are C-SUVs and 1,500 of which are C-Sedans, within the scope of the protocol signed between DMO and TOGG (Türkiye’s Automobile Joint Venture Group),

-Procurement of the electric vehicles, needed by public institutions and organizations, through DMO,

-Increasing the number of medicines, medical supplies and medical devices procured through DMO,

-Continuing the development of the Techno Catalogue Platform in the areas of high technology and innovation, ecosystem and entrepreneurship in order to ensure the commercialization of entrepreneurs through public procurement,

-Continuing the promotion and training activities for technology companies operating in Technology Development Zones.
